It's a movie about a noisy, large greek family with a 30-year-old daughter who does not want to marry, which breaks her fathers heart. But then she meets an American ... and there the problems with the family begin. Especially with the father. The family does not want her to marry a guy who is not greek.
I guess I leave you to it and will not tell you the end of the film. Maybe for some reason it will have a different title in English ... so have you seen it?

I saw it, I don't know why it got all the hype it got, it was just a romantic comedy with some Greek undertones. I thought it was all right, I was definitely very entertained by it but it's not in my top 10 favorite movies at all.
cheers

Yeah, that is funny too. That father of hers is just too funny.

The grandmother is funny as well ... a bit confused I would say. lol. Beating her own son thinking he was Turkish ... that is just too funny. And the way Tula, the woman, commented it all at the beginning ... very sarcastically.

Lol. Another topick from the past.
It is a funny movie. But it is a bit over the top i think. There are a lot of stereotypes there. For example it gives the impression that all Greek people eat meet and they don't know what vegetarian is lol. It's not bad. I need to watch zorba the Greek as well.

Loved that movie, but I can't really remember most of it. The only part I actually remember is the ending, and I won't give that away.
